Villa comodissima e ben fornita di tutte le comodità di cui si ha bisogno durante una vacanza

Il mio soggiorno presso la Villa è stato privo di intoppi grazie alla disponibilità di Antonio. La villa è dotata di tutti i comfort che rendono perfetto il soggiorno. La villa immersa in un contesto così tranquillo riesce a regalare un relax assoluto. Senza alcun dubbio tornerò per potermi godere un po’ di relax in questa spettacolare location.

Wow what a fantastic villa this is! we stayed for a week with friends and a total of 5 children in this very spacious house. Absolutely everything was there, a lovely outdoor space, enclosed garden, plenty of parking, air conditioning and above all a fantastic swimming pool. The pictures are already beautiful, in reality it is even better. the kitchen was quite small and narrow, but oh well you are always outside (with a 2nd kitchen!). The location is perfect, both to go to the coastal towns and to discover the trulli region. Filomena is very friendly and helps with everything, even called a friend of the doctor for a small medical question. Fantastic! Don’t hesitate, do it !!

We have stayed with a family of eight (including a little girl from just over 1 years old) in the beautiful Villa Iris; a true paradise on earth. After our flight our hostess Filomena and her husband were meeting us outside the airport and guided us to the place where we would stay for a week. There is always the little part of you that is afraid that the place doesn’t look like the pictures, and turns out to be a big disaster. Well , on the contrary: this place is even better than you can imagine! The villa is spacious with all the facilities one needs. There is this beautiful green, flowery and well kept garden with lots of space to hang out. The swimming pool was the area of the villa this holiday revolved around. Clear water and the pool is in excellent condition. Everything is provided for: beds around the pool, toys for the little girl, a barbeque and pizza oven, an outside kitchen, a large family table, enough space to park three cars and the villa is nicely decorated on the inside. The rooms are nice and cool and are also provided with well working airconditioning. But what really made our holiday one to never forget was the kind hostess. Everyday she checked how we were doing and gave us useful tips: places to visit (cities, beaches, markets etc), places to eat and things we should really experience before leaving Puglia. We have alreay told you numerous times, but thank you FIlomena (and husband!)! We had a lovely week and felt right at home because of your warm heart and excellent hospitality! We hope to come back again in the near future!

A gorgeous villa in the peaceful countryside just outside of Castellana Grotte, Villa Iris is ideal for those who want it all: soaking in the sun poolside, peace and quiet, and a short drive from attractions like Polignano a Mare’s panoramic views, Castellana’s unique caves, and nightlife in Monopoli. Hosts Antonio and Filomena went a cut above by stocking the fridge with breakfast necessities, which came in handy the next morning since we pulled up late in our rental car. We took full advantage of the BBQ, which was easy enough to operate, but (as anything in the villa) Antonio can show you how, if needed. In our case he had some great suggestions on how to procure some great meats at the best butcher in neighboring Castellana Grotte, or fish in Monopoli. The rooms are neat, the beds are comfortable, and the house is cool while the temperature outside is hot and dry. I just loved the pool, the sun, and took advantage of the stationary bike to compensate for the extra calorie intake thanks to Puglia’s irresistible fresh, locally-produced food.

The place is absolutely nice and very beautiful. It is so clean and so bright. I recommend it to everyone who want to visit villa Iris. The location is really convenient! My family and my friends will stay here again for sure. 🙂 The time we were spent here was amazing. Thank you we were really enjoyed our stay! 🙂

Fantastic stay in this very comfortable house, Filomena and Antonio were very accomodating. We were a large group staying at the house, the pool and garden are great, the outside kitchen and barbecue really handy and practical. Overall a great stay in the middle of the country, just 5 minutes from lovely Castellana Grotte, 15 minutes away from Monopoli and Polignano a Mare, lots of excellent restaurants around, excellent market on Saturdays, and every little village around is a gem… Excellent location to get away from the August crowds and to enjoy the pugliese life
